I love this post! What a sweet list!
One strategy I have for unpleasantness is: Sometimes I imagine breathing in all of the negativity, pain, and trauma of the world, transforming it inside of me and breathing out love, relief, respite, safety, healing, or anything that is a balm. I don't use words so, it's a meditation and it takes a visual form. Each breath or repetition I try to go farther and farther out, and imagine all of the people who need healing and love.
